Suzuki has built the DR-Z400S, DR-Z400E and DR-Z400SM around the thin YT7B-BS since 2000, and a quarter century of dual-sport riders know exactly what a dead one feels like at a trailhead. The AT7B-BS RE-START replaces it at 1.5 lbs with 180 cranking amps and a jump start built into the battery, in the same 5.75 x 2.5 x 3.75 inch case.

A plated dual sport commutes all week and then sits; a trail bike sits all month and then gets kicked. Either way the RE-START BMS sleeps the battery before it goes flat and keeps a reserve. Press the button on top and the 400 single fires.
