ECO Battery lithium conversion kits and Factory Replacement kits are all cart-specific, meaning that all included components are made specifically for your golf cart make and model, making installation a breeze to do on your own (at home). • Remote wake up button (new feature with Gen3 batteries, can be mounted on the dash or anywhere convenient and is included with the kits)

Factory (OEM) Battery Replacements

Here’s one that not many brands can touch. As of 2026, ECO has Factory (OEM) Battery Replacement integrations for EZGO, Club Car, Evolution, Denago and Yamaha. And we carry all of them here at the LGCB.

This industry leading tech gives factory lithium cart owners new upgraded options for their cart, instead of expensive lower power factory battery replacements. What that means for you is that if your cart came from the factory with a lithium pack (Samsung, Vanguard, etc.), Eco hands you a real upgrade path that is compatible with all your cart's existing features instead of leaving you stuck with whatever the OEM originally bolted in.

USA Based Customer Support

Safety Construction (No Worrying)

Lithium golf cart batteries built incorrectly pose fire risks (and you can't put out a lithium fire). But good quality lithium batteries are very safe (just look how many Teslas are out on the road). Every battery ECO builds runs on LiFePO4 cells, which is the safest and longest lasting lithium chemistry on the market, and when you pair that with the BMS and firmware we mentioned above, what you get is thousands of safe and stress free miles. Because the BMS is doing the heavy lifting in the background to protect against:

• Short circuits
• Over current
• Over charge and over discharge
• High and low temperature
• Freeze charge protection (so you don’t damage the cells trying to charge them in the cold)

The Things ECO Battery Could Improve

There isn't much that ECO battery could do better, but we have summarized in a few bullets below things we have heard from customers and noticed ourselves as a major ECO retailer:

1. ECO Battery warranties are non-transferrable
   • This is a BIG one, and one we like to be up front with buyers about. ECO has one of the best batteries on the market, but unlike with other premium options (such as BOLT), the ECO battery warranty is not transferrable if you sell your golf cart.
   • This isn't detrimental, but can make for awkward questions when reselling your golf cart when it comes to the battery and any warranty it may have 
2. ECO Battery charges extra for their heated battery option.
   • At the premium battery price, we wish this came included like it does on some other premium brands we sell. But at least ECO offers it (for an upcharge price).
   • Related to the bullet above, cold weather charging is not possible with unheated batteries. This is true for ALL LiFePO4 batteries. They will not accept a charge if they are below 32°F. So you can slowly kill your cells if you don't pay up for the heated option and store your cart in colder conditions.

The LGCB Final Verdict on ECO Battery

After selling ECO Battery kits by the dozens each month since 2022, watching them earn their OEM deal with ICON, and putting them through the wringer ourselves, we can tell you the hype is real.
