That is real money, and you deserve to know what you are giving up to save it. There’s two things, and we would rather you hear them here then find out in December.
First, most Vatrer packs do not self-heat. Vatrer does build a self-heating model, but it is a separate battery and it is not what is inside the standard kits. The BMS stops accepting a charge around 32°F and starts back up once things warm past 41°F. Down in Arizona and across most of the sunbelt that never comes up. If your cart winters in an unheated barn up north, that matters, so ask us about the self-heating version before you order.
Second, the support model is different. The premium brands on our shelf sell through real dealer networks with people who pick up the phone. Vatrer sells a lot more direct, and that is part of why the price is what it is. Good news is that when you buy the kit from the LGCB, we are the ones answering the phone.

Who makes Vatrer golf cart batteries?
Vatrer Power, a battery manufacturer based out of Shenzhen, China with a US presence as well. The brand has been around since 2020 and exhibited at CES in Las Vegas in 2025, so this is not a fly-by-night storefront that vanishes in eighteen months. They build LiFePO4 packs for golf carts, RVs, marine and trolling motor use, forklifts, and home energy storage. Golf carts are one lane of a much bigger operation.
Does Vatrer make a battery for my golf cart?
Almost certainly. Vatrer builds golf cart packs in 36-Volt, 48-Volt and 72-Volt, in 100Ah, 105Ah and 150Ah sizes, with cart-specific versions built for Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha and ICON. They also build a Mini and a Narrow Version for carts with a tight battery bay, which is the sort of thing most brands do not bother doing. We sell the entire Vatrer lineup. What is the Vatrer golf cart battery warranty?
It gets advertised as a 10 year warranty, and here is the part nobody bothers to explain. It is 5 years standard, plus another 5 years you earn by registering and activating the battery with Vatrer after install. So register it. Takes about two minutes and it doubles the coverage. Also worth knowing: past the first 12 months a claim gets prorated with a depreciation fee and you cover return shipping. That is pretty standard in this industry, but we would rather tell you now then have you find out later.
Will a Vatrer battery charge in cold weather?
Down to about 32°F, yes. Below that the BMS shuts charging off to protect the cells, and it kicks back on above roughly 41°F. Driving works a lot colder, all the way down to -4°F. Lithium batteries do not like being charged when they are frozen, and a battery that refuses to do it is protecting itself, not failing on you. If you truly need to charge in hard cold, ask us about the Vatrer self-heating pack instead.
Does the Vatrer battery have a Bluetooth app?
It does. You get an app for iPhone and Android showing state of charge, voltage, temperature and cycle count, plus firmware updates, and there’s an LCD touch meter in the kit too. One word of caution though. The app will let you look at the BMS settings, but do not go changing them. Vatrer presets everything at the factory and fiddling with those parameters can cost you the warranty.
What is the Sport Battery Pack upgrade?
For an extra $200 you get the same 105Ah capacity running a 300-Amp BMS instead of the standard 200-Amp. On a bone stock cart, skip it. If you have already got a motor and controller upgrade, or a 6-inch lift on 23" tires, or you are hauling four adults up hills all summer, spend the $200. Amps are what a cart pulls when it is working hard, and a bigger BMS means the battery is not the first thing to tap out.
How much does a Vatrer golf cart battery cost?
It depends on the voltage and the Amp-Hours you go with. The 48-Volt 105Ah kit is the one most people want, and it runs $1,678.95 here, marked down from a $2,199.00 MSRP. 36-Volt setups come in under that, and 72-Volt kits and the bigger 150Ah packs run higher. Whichever one you land on, the price covers the pack, the charger, the meter, the harness and all the hardware. No surprise add-ons required to make it work, though the 12-Volt reducer (+$78.95) is worth every penny if you are running lights, a stereo or a fan on your cart.
