A Defender or Commander that pulls a winch, pushes a plow and runs a light bar and a stereo wants capacity, not just cranking amps. The ATX20-HD packs a 15Ah lithium pack (30Ah lead-acid equivalent) and 780 cranking amps into the YTX20L footprint at 5.18 lbs: roughly twice the capacity of other lithium in this size, and about 50% more than the standard ATX20.

The HD trades the RE-START reserve for that extra capacity and a lighted voltage indicator on top. Press it and you know where the battery stands before you head out.
